Weekend

Not much to say about  the weekend except the facct that i watched Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Threader. ON CHRISTMAS! the movie was awesome. But before i catch the movie, i saw this little girl around 5 years old go abandonned by her mother. The mother walked so far and only realised her daughter was missing. I pity the poor girl, good thing there were many good people like elderly ladies and people with families asking her "Where is mommy?" Her mother came, then i headed to catch the movie. TAYLOR SWIFT ON THE SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE COVER! random. Anyways, here are some picters to discribe my weekend.  ENJOY!

Penang Day 4 (Kedah)

Today, my dad started work early and left me and my mom in the hotel. We went downstairs to have breakfast. We went for like late breakfast so we did'nt have lunch. Like day 3, my mom took a long long nap. Me, of course taking adventage of he free WiFi. Then at around 3 pm we checked out of the hotel and head to THAILAND! I know what you are thinking, but i am not going there over night. And the part of thailand i went to people still speak malay but if with their own people then they speak thai. We did'nt go sight seeing but instead went shopping at the duty free store. They have so many things there. and they are really a fan of hello kitty. Penang Day 3 (Kedah)

We packed our bags and got out at around noon. Me and my mom followed my dad out for work because he has a project going there. So we checked into the low cost hotel but i think it is decent as they have Astro, WiFi, and finally i get my own bed and my parents don't have to share a twin single size bed. So when my dad went off to work, me and my mom stayed in the hotel room. My mom took a very long nap while me taking adventage of the free WiFi. When my dad returned, we went to Perlis for some dinner. Then we went home a little late. This is the first time i see a Paddy Field. Anyways, here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

Penang Day 2

Day 2 of the trip, we went to the market in the early morning to buy some things needed for the prayer. Since my family is the type that doesn't let children to go to places where the dead lie. (And good thing, those places give me the creeps) So my parents decided to drop me off at my cousins house while they are away. When i was there i was bored out of my mind! All i can do is read my book, listen to the radio, watch the 100+ episode Hokkien drama and watch my cousin brothers fight over a Chinese Chess game. After 3 long hours, i finally got out of that house! (not that i enjoyed being with my cousins but they fought the whole time i was there) After that we headed home (not KL home but Penang house) We rested for a while and decided to go out to Queensbay Mall. We did'nt buy anyhing there but i got some nice shots. We found this restaurant which the theme is the toilet, like the ones they have in Japan. And we ate at Station One cafe and got a free bunny bear! Anyway, enjoy the pics.

I did'nt really eat here but the place is AWESOME!

Penang Day 1

On day one, we left for Penang because my family wanted to pray my grandfather because it is his death anniversary. We left at around 11am but we reached Penang at around 5pm. Kuala Lumpur to Penang is not a 6 hour trip but we stopped to have meals so it took some time. When we about to reach the Penang Bridge, we ate at this restaurant called Northern Star Cafe. The food there is great and some of the drink mixers are so cute! I don't have much to say about the first day but here are some pictures of the food we ate at the place.

Dads Lemon and Sour Plum Water

Mums Lemon Tea

My OREO Milkshake

The milkshake and the cafe's business card

My dad's Unagi (eel in japanese) Rice
(when they serve it, the little thin pieces were moving)

Mom's Black pepper chicken rice

My Chicken Chop

The Octopus ball with fruit salad.
(the little this pieces also moved for this dish)

Ahh... coffee... not a fan of it. (Unless it is cuppachino)

That's all for Day 1, please look forward for Day 2
